The Boudin Barndance - 1/9/2003

The Boudin Barndance was graced with the presense of Austin, Texas-based honky
tonker Roger Wallace live in the studio this evening. Roger was joined by
guitarist (and Knoxville pal) Labron Lazenby. The fellows played some, talked
some, and spun a few for the Southeastern New England listening audience. Also
joining the fray was my pal Mike Trynosky who hosts the program Not Exactly
Nashville broadcast over 91.1 WCNI-FM in New London, CT on Saturdays from noon -
3 pm. A terrific time was had by all. Roger and his band will be making two
area appearances, Friday night at the Narrows Center For the Arts in Fall River,
MA (www.ncfta.org) and Cafe Fantastique in Worcester, MA on Saturday.

As for debuts, only a one tonight with the new one from the Austin-based band
Gravy Boat making the Barndance cut.

Stay tuned for next week's show as we'll have Rob Miller of Bloodshot Records as
a phone-in guest in the 7 - 8 pm EST hour to talk about the label and all.
