In addition to a mixed bag of stuff on the Boudin Barndance this evening, we did
a couple of features. First and foremost was a preview of the upcoming show
from Jon Langford's Ship & Pilot featuring Sally Timms who appear at the Narrows
Center for the Arts (www.ncfta.org) in Fall River, MA on Saturday night. Dollar
Store front by Waco Deano open the festivites. The Narrows will also have an
exhibition of Jon's art running in conjunction with the music performance.
Spotlighted the new release of twangy instrumentals from the duo of Dave Biller
& Bobby Horton called Texotica just out on Vinylux records. In addition to that
new release making its debut on the Barndance, worked in a few other
first-timers including releases from Jason Ringenberg, Dollar Store, and the Two
High String Band.
