The Boudin Barndance - 2/7/2002

Back in the saddle after a week off due to parental and fun-time obligations. An odds and ends night on the Boudin Barndance this evening. Celebrated the birthday of Ernest Tubb (Feb. 9) with a set of his music. Worked in a small Mardi Gras-themed set what with Fat Tuesday just around the corner. Also featured a bunch of new recordings to the Barndance library. These included new ones from Scott McClatchy, the Twangbangers, Spike Priggen, Tandy, Graham Parker, the upcoming "Essential Johnny Cash" collection, and the brand new Link Wray retrospective "Slinky"!! Buttshaker of the night????? Jimmy Heap with a rockin' classic, "Little Jewel." Now onto the goods....
