Boudin Barndance Thursday 6:00-9:00pm with Dan Ferguson (boudindan@cox.net) The Boudin Barndance - 2/20/2003 Paycheck this evening with the last hour of the program devoted to his music, songs, and contributions. (And I have to thank Eddie Stubbs whose program I was listening to on Wednesday night for reminding me of Paycheck's great harmony contributions to two Skeets McDonald recording sessions from 1960 & '61 yielding about 10 priceless cuts). Previewed a show upcoming at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA on Friday evening that features Jay Bennett & Edward Burch and the band Dolly Varden. Also got to a bunch of Barndance first-timers this evening with releases from Calexico, Jeannie Kendall, Randy Howard, and George Strait as well as an excellent various artists collection called Legends of the Incredible Lap Steel Guitar all making the cut for the initial time.
