The Boudin Barndance - 02/26/2004

A couple of birthday remembrances to begin things on the Boudin Barndance this evening. First up was a set of music from Johnny Cash in honor of his birthday
this very day. Up second was the Singin' Sheriff himself, the late Faron Young whose birthday falls on Feb. 25. Featured tracks from the terrific new
compilation out this week titled Night Train To Nashville which focuses on Nashville R&B circa 1945-70. Plenty of CDs making Barndance debuts tonight,
too, including new releases from Christine Mims, Jimmie Dale Gilmore (a best-of collection from the HighTone years), Slaid Cleaves, and Tom Russell.
