The Boudin Barndance - 3/14/2002

A full plate on the Boudin Barndance this evening dominated by the 2nd half
of the show which featured nothing but a steady stream of 7-inch slabs of
black vinyl. In particular, we dedicated that portion of the program to the
Sun Records Jukebox Series from Norton Records. What that is is 15 45 RPM
reissues of original Sun recordings. For the most part, each 45 features a
different recording from a different Sun artist on each side. It's all
pretty priceless stuff. Check the Norton goods out at

Also dedicated a big long set to the South by South Austin goings-on at the
Texicalli Grill this Saturday afternoon with the Cornell Hurd Band hosting.
Featured tracks from a bunch of the folks scheduled to play that
extravaganza.
