The Boudin Barndance - 4/11/2002

'nother busy night in Boudin Barndance land this evening. Any excuse to play a
set of Loretta Lynn is okay in my book and the fact she's got a birthday coming
up on Sunday was reason enough to feature the honky tonk queen. New releases
out the ying-yang tonight with albums from Porter Hall Tennessee, Damnations,
Lisa Mednick, The Starliters, Rico Bell, and Kevn Kinney as well as the
Testament anthology from the Blasters and the Porter Wagoner addition to the RCA
Country Legends series all getting 1st-time Barndance spins tonight. Another
first-timer was the new Kris Kristofferson tribute "Don't Let the Bastards Get
You Down." A deeper look at this one in the weeks to come. Buttshaker of the
night????? One of Midland, Texas' finest, the great Elroy Dietzel, with "Rock n
Bones." Once again, thanks to y'all who pledged during our fundraiser last
