The Boudin Barndance - 5/23/2002

Vinyl occupied a good chunk of the Boudin Barndance this evening as I made a bit
of a 12-inch killing of the C&W variety down Jersey way last weekend.
Previewed a few vintage tracks from the legendary Wailers who make a stop in
Providence next Saturday (June 1) as part of an East coast swing. Barndance
1st-timers this evening included releases from Dave Alvin, Los Dos Equis
(featuring Tommy X. Hancock & John X. Reed), a collaboration between Jesse
Taylor & John X. Reed, and some pretty hot rockabilly from Motor City cats Bones
Maki & the Sun Dodgers. Buttshaker of the night????? Let's give it to Bones
and his boys with "Lost In Outer Space." Now onto the goods.....
