The Boudin Barndance - 6/20/2002

A gorgeous night for a Boudin Barndance. Unfortunately, being in our
bunker-like studio, you don't see much for outside. A few things on the main
agenda tonight including a look at the new Bloodshot "kids" album "The Bottle
Let Me Down". Also featured a set of music from Greg Trooper who will
performing a house concert in this neck of the woods this Sunday, June 23, at 3
pm. (If you're in the New England region and have any interest in attending,
please e-mail me as we do have some seats still open.)

Lots of new things tonight as well making their respective Barndance debuts.
Gotta say that the last month and a half has seen some real fine country
recordings released. Add two more in new ones from Heather Myles and Dale
Watson to a list that already includes Cornell Hurd, Mike Ireland, Roger
Wallace, and Daryle Singletary, to name a few. Other Barndance first-timers
tonight included releases from bluegrasser Ernie Thacker (big thumbs up), Chuck
Prophet, Tim Krekel, and Jason Ringenberg. Buttshaker of the night????? Let's
give it to Kim Lenz from the Bloodshot kids compilation covering "Down On the
Farm". Now onto the goods.....
