The Boudin Barndance - 10/3/2002

Previewed a couple of area shows on the Boudin Barndance this evening. First
off, the art & music show coming up tomorrow night (Friday, October 4) at the
Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA featuring Jon Langford and Rico
Bell. Check out www.ncfta.org for details. In addition to that, featured a
short set of music from Michael Fracasso who will be performing at a church in
Coventry, RI on Sunday evening at 6 pm.

Tons of releases getting first-time Barndance spins tonight. These included
recordings from Mary McBride, The Sovines, Kelly Parkadooper, Eric Hisaw, Jim &
Jennie & the Pinetops, Big Smith, Cave Catt Sammy, Kicksville Volume 2, and a
superb collection of steel guitar music from Jon Rauhouse. Buttshaker of the
night????? Seeing it's the late Eddie Cochran's birthday, we give it to him
with "Twenty Flight Rock." Now onto the goods.....
