The Boudin Barndance - 10/23/2003

Back in action tonight after a one-week hiatus for parental duties. We
remembered the late Boozoo Chavis this evening on what would have been his 73rd
birthday. Previewed some tunes and gave away tix for the Bill Mallonee/Barn
Burning show at the Narrows Center for the Arts on Saturday night. And despite
it being 2-3 hours outside the listening area, previewed the big Bloodshot at
CMJ BBQ happening Saturday afternoon at Union Pool in Brooklyn. And we're
bummed that Wayne the Train will not be coming to Providence this Monday nor
doing any of the rest of his Northeast tour due to hospitalization for a
bacterial infection. We wish him well! As for new releases making their Boudin
Barndance debuts tonight, there was a bunch including the latest from Paul
