The Boudin Barndance - 10/31/2002

Lots of stuff on the Boudin Barndance plate this evening. Of course Halloween
played into the proceedings and we worked in some scaryfying tunes towards the
surf and garage side of the spectrum. Did a short birthday set in honor of the
late Doug Sahm who would've celebrated on November 6. Also featured some music
in conjunction with plugging a "Rockabilly Get Well Soon" show for Jack Smith's
(of Rocakbilly Planet fame) wife Mary which happens on Sunday, November 10 from
3 to 8 pm at the Stepping Stone Ranch in Escoheag, RI. Check out
www.steppingstoneranch.com for directions. In addition to Jack, the afternoon
will feature Bill Kirchen as well as present and past members of the Rockabilly
Planet from the last 25 years. Also some surprise guests will be coming in.
