The Boudin Barndance - 12/19/2002

Had planned to conduct an on-air interview with one of the Bloodshot head
ramrods this evening in celebration of the 100th release from the label,
however, schedules got crossed up and we've moved it to January. What with it
being the last Barndance before Christmas, we of course dipped into some music
of the season with three new releases from New York City-based Confidential
Recordings making Barndance debuts, that being "For Christ's Sake" from
multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire Jon Graboff, "Christmas In Memphis" from
the band Husky Team, and "A Kustard Kristmas" from the Kustard Kings the primary
focus.

Also did a big ol' set of tunes from the Cornell Hurd Band and gave away some
bumperstickers as well in celebration of Cornell's upcoming birthday next week.
Also worked in a set of honky tonk nuggets slapped together by my TX-based
compadre, Len Brown. As for new things other than the Xmas stuff, only the
latest release from The Hentchmen made its Barndance debut tonight. As for the
buttshaker of the night????? The Kaisers take the honors with "Merry Christmas
Loopy Lu." Now onto the goods.....
