First off, Happy New Year to all. The first Boudin Barndance of 2015 amounted to a look back at some favorite releases from 2014 with the last hour of the show focused on our Top 15 or so. For 2014, Lydia Loveless’s album “Somewhere Else” takes the nod as Barndance favorite of the year with albums from Hiss Golden Messenger, Sturgill Simpson, and The Delines breathing down the neck. Frankly speaking, we only scratched the surface of 2014 this week and will continue the look back over the next few shows. Buttshaker of the week???? Benjamin Booker grabs it with “Happy Home”. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
