The Boudin Barndance radio show was back in action tonight after a week off to go meet the first grandson in Ohio. Mission accomplished and back in the saddle. A busy evening, as usual. We remembered Charles Bradley and Cedell Davis each of whom passed away within the last week.We previewed a few shows upcoming in the area, as well as the usual mix of new stuff and old stuff. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from Anna Tivel, Hiss Golden Messenger, Josh Ritter, Jon Langford’s Four Lost Souls, Lucinda Williams, the late Gregg Allman, Lenore, Whitney Rose, and the new Bash & Pop reissue. Buttshaker of the week???? Flat Duo Jets who play in Newport tomorrow night with “Go Go Harlem Baby.” Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
