The Boudin Bardance shined the spotlight this evening on our Swamp Stomp festival which returns on Saturday after a two-year absence and features The Sadies, Sarah Borges & Eric “Roscoe” Ambel, Jon Langford & Sally Timms w/ The Sadies, Amy Rigby, and Tom Heyman w/ Wire Troop. Also in the mix on tonight’s show were new releases the first hour, our weekly C&W segment, and various other odds and ends including a touch of doo wop near show’s end. New music making its Barndance debut tonight came from Joe Pug, Jack Klatt, Josh Rouse, Mama’s Broke, Why Bonnie, Will Stewart, Bill Anderson, and The Sadies. Buttshaker of the week???? Red Foley with “Pinball Boogie.” Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
