Plenty spewing from the tap on this evening’s Boudin Barndance. We resumed our Alt Country A to Z feature which looks back at the prime period of the genre from the mid-to-late 1980s to the early aughts. Tonight’s focus was “F” artists during the final hour of the program. New releases dominated both our first hour and our set after the weekly live music listings. Of course there was our weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut tonight came from local treasure Mark Cutler, Red Rockers, Cat Power, Bob Dylan, the recent Leon Russell tribute, and Tre Burt. Buttshaker of the week???? Charlie Feathers with “A Man in Love.” Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
