This evening was our final full Boudin Barndance for 2023 as basketball broadcasts the next two Thursdays cut into the program. Next week will be a 45-minute show starting at 6 and there will be no show on December 28. As for tonight, we spent the first hour with new releases from 2023. That was followed by the weekly C&W segment and then a set of holiday fare. The final hour was a mix-‘em-up batch of tunes. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut tonight came from Michael Nau, Ray Mason, Jerry Joseph, The Sinseers w/ Joey Quinines, Nancy Sinatra, Hayes Carll & Melissa Carper, Joel Patterson, Bright Eyes, Chris Shiflett, and The Lowlies. Buttshaker of the week???? Keeping in the holiday spirit, Joel Patterson gets the nod with Christmas Guitar Boogie. Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
