Our monthly Boudin Barndance Alt Country A to Z feature returned tonight with the focus on “L” artists from the prime period of the alt country movement (mid-80s to early aughts). It took up the entire 2nd half of the program and was in addition to the weekly hour of new releases to begin the show, as well as the weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut this evening came from the late Guy Clark, Richard Thompson, Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Shannon & The Clams, Noelle & The Deserters, Kaia Kater, and Sarah Gayle Meech.
