Tonight’s Boudin Barndance offered up a preview of Swamp Stomp 17 (produced by yours truly) which happens on Saturday and features the Diesel Only All-Stars, The Schramms, Kevin Gordon Trio, Amy LaVere & Will Sexton, and Olivia Ellen Lloyd. In honor of the late Jeremy Tepper for whom this year’s Swamp Stomp is dedicated, we also offered a set of truckin’ tunes from a collection put together by Tepper with the CMF. Prior to that, it was the usual hour of mostly new stuff to begin the show followed by the weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Case Oats, Molly Tuttle, Patty Griffin, Rodney Crowell, Ben de la Cour, Will Johnson, Wayne Scott, Tim O’Brien & Jane Fabricius, and Jesse Daniel. Buttshaker of the week???? Truckin’ all the way with “Truck Driver’s Blues” from Cliff Bruner & His Boys. Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
