Back to normal Boudin Barndance programming this evening after a couple of weeks of fundraising for our annual WRIU Radiothon. If you missed out, you can still make a donation by going to the WRIU homepage and either clicking on the radiothon image on the page or on the DONATE button at the top of the page. As for this evening’s program, we began things with an hour of new stuff followed by the weekly C&W set. Kicked off the 2nd half of the program with a Del McCoury Band preview as they play the Uptown Theatre in Providence on Friday night. From there it was more new stuff flowed by some odds & ends that have been kicking around in the ol’ C carrier for the last three weeks. New albums and singles this evening came from Trey Hensley, Tony Rice (reissue), Caleb Caudle, Rachel Brooke, Kiki Cavazos, Willie Nelson (reissue), Liam Kazar, Widowspeak, Alela Diane, Blood Sucking Maniacs, Eilen Jewell, Tony Trischka, Matt the Electrician, Dale Watson, and Charley Crockett.
