A Word about Tonight’s Show:  Tonight we dispense with theme, but not purpose, Tonight we feature more Graham Reynolds, the vocal niceties of Jack Black (yes, that Jack Black), and unexpected and always funny turns of humor from Martin Mull, Animaniacs, and Sid Caesar. We’ll have Dean Martin without the singing, Paul McCartney with and without the Beatles and Steve Martin without the jokes, and a suite of tunes from the Coen Brothers screwball classic, Raising Arizona.

Not everything’s a curveball, but there is enough off-speed and offbeat stuff in the mix to keep you loose.

One more thing: this scattershot approach was so much fun to spin, I am doing it again this Sunday, July 5th. What a nice way to wrap up your holiday weekend, right?
