Well, it sure was a busy Boudin Barndance this evening. Lots on the agenda. We previewed and gave away tix for The Devil Makes Three show at Lupo’s in Providence on Friday the 23rd. We also had a CD giveaway and played tunes from the new Willie Nelson tribute to Ray Price called For the Good Times (with CDs courtesy of Sony Legacy). Congrats to all the winners. We remembered Bill Monroe who would have celebrated a birthday this week. We also mixed it up plenty. A bunch of new releases making their Barndance debut tonight including albums from Dwight Yoakam, Claire Lynch, Jesse Dayton, Shovels & Rope, Eric Ambel, Rachel Yamagata, Paper Bird, and of course, Willie Nelson. Buttshaker of the week???? The Time Jumpers take the cup with “We’re The Time Jumpers.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
