This evening was the The Boudin Barndance edition of the 2015 WRIU Radiothon fundraiser and once again the calls were plenty. Thank you all! If you didn’t get a chance to call in, you can still pledge your support for a few weeks more via our web site at www.wriu.org. Hit the “Radiothon” link and tell ‘em The Boudin Barndance sent ya and you’ll get a bumpersticker and our new refrigerator magnet, sausage-shaped of course. We also thank the Boudin Barndance support staff, Liz, Nancy, & Jim for helping out on the phones and making the chore of pledging so pleasant for the callers. The golden touch once more. We’d also like to give a big thanks to Mike at Bloodshot Records, Bruce at Big Legal Mess Records, and Ronnie at Madjack Records contributing CDs and other assorted stuff for giveaways. Hat’s off to them! As for the music, it was an evening of two-song sets with lots of begging in between. We did debut a couple of new releases from Pokey LaFarge and Feufollet. Buttshaker of the week???? Leo Welch with a grinder called “Cadillac baby”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
