This evening’s Boudin Barndance was in preparation for what is supposed to be the coldest day of the winter so far and that being tomorrow. Our mission tonight? To warm those soul coals of you listeners out there in radioland. We did some mixing and matching on tonight’s program with a little of this and a little of that. We deployed the Waco Brothers to help us forget winter for awhile. In honor of the upcoming Fat Tuesday, we headed down to Louisiana for our last set dishing out tunes from Ace’s pretty swell Boppin’ by the Bayou series. Lots of new releases making their Barndance debut, too. They included albums from Amy Speace, Whitehorse, Butch Walker, Father John Misty, Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line, Rhiannon Giddens, and Josh Buckley. Buttshaker of the week????
