An oh-so-busy night on the Boudin Barndance this evening. We did ticket giveaways for Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives at the Narrows in Fall River tomorrow night and The Head & The Heart at Lupo’s in Providence on Monday night. Did features of each show along with the Sacred Shakers/ Zoe Muth show happening at the Narrows on Saturday night. Other than that, we mixed it up and finally got back into our soul & Mississippi grooves to close out the evening’s show. New releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time included albums from Shakey Grvaes, Dennis Crommett, and belatedly Nick Lowe’s holiday album. Buttshaker of the week???? Can’t resist giving the nod to Evan Johns & The H-Bombs with “Back in the Backseat”. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
