We dedicated tonight’s program to long-time Boudin Barndance supporter Yuma E. who left us for good last week. A loyal phone caller and contributor for too many years to remember, Yuma also was an early and steady supporter of our Roots Hoot House Concerts series. He will be missed. We spun a bunch of stuff he dug all during the 2nd half of this evening’s show. The first half of the program was a mix-em-up affair of mostly new and recent stuff. New releases making the Barndance hit parade this evening for the first time included albums from Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes, Mike Farris, Steelism, Seth Walker, Imelda May (at Lupo’s on Sept. 27), Front Country, Greensky Bluegrass, and Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives. Buttshaker of the week???? A bump and grinder called “Mr. Starlight” from Michael Tarbox. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
