The Boudin Barndance was back in action again this evening after yet one more week off. That’ll be it for a long while. It was the usual full plate punctuated by a preview of the Joe Fletcher CD release show happening at the Columbus Theater in Providence tomorrow night and playing some tracks from his new solo album. New releases making their Barndance debut this evening included albums from Marc Ford, Waylon Speed, Robyn Ludwick, Lee Ann Womack, Jack Logan & Scott Blaxendale, and two recent compilations, the various artists set Look Again to the Wind saluting the 50th anniversary of the release of the Johnny Cash album “Bitter Tears” and the latest entry in The Numero Group’s Eccentric Soul series called “Capitol City Soul”. Buttshaker of the week???? The Dirtbombs with the soul shaker “I’ll Wait ”. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
