The final Boudin Barndance of 2012 was a busy one. We spent the first half of the program looking back at some 2012 releases that hit the Barndance sweet spot. (We’ll do our full-blown look back at 2012 favorites on next week’s program.) We previewed some cool shows coming up this weekend including The Devil Makes Three/Brown Bird at The Met Café on Sunday, Deer Tick/Two Gallants at Fete on Sunday night, and Joe Fletcher/Nikki Lane at the Columbus Theater on New Year’s Eve. We spent the last hour looking back at some 2012 reissues and historical collections that struck a good nerve. Buttshaker of the week????
