Out with the humidity and dampness and in with clear, perfect days for the next few. Many have a 3-day weekend and The Boudin Barndance kicked it off early with tunes from all walks. We did a ticket giveaway and previewed the Joy Kills Sorrow show tomorrow evening as part of the Music at Lillypads series in Peace Dale. Also played a few from Deer Tick’s upcoming release as the home state heroes play a couple of shows next Wednesday and Thursday nights at The Met in Pawtucket. After catching Part One of HBO’s George Harrison film, we couldn’t resist working one of the late Beatle’s tunes into the mix. New releases receiving first time Barndance spins this evening included releases from Brown Bird, Nathan Hamilton, Scott H. Biram, Girls Guns & Glory, Deer Tick, Wilco, and Left Lane Cruiser. Buttshaker of the week???? The Renegades take the prize with “Geronimo”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
