Another odds & ends evening on The Boudin Barndance as we await what is supposed to be a pretty stormy night into tomorrow. It did not deter the Barndance in the least as we aired it out from A to Z. Remembered a couple of fallen talents in Ronnie Dawson, aka The Blonde Bomber, and Amy Farris on the anniversary of their passing’s. New albums making their Barndance debuts included The Old 97s (and sounding wonderfully like the old The Old 97s), Blaze Foley (Fat Possum retrospective), Tony Joe White, and The Black Angels. Buttshaker of the week???? Peter Case in a photo finish with “House Rent Jump.” Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
