Two-thirds of a Boudin Barndance is better than no BB (and thanks to Harry who follows each week with the rock show, he covered the last hour beautifully , IMHO). Matters of burlesque and friends caused the early departure, but we still had tons of fun ’til 8. We did a mini-preview of a house show we’re doing next weekend (June 5) with Cary Hudson (of Blue Mountain fame). E-mail me for info/tix. Also plugged what sounds like a real cool weekend of music happening up at Mass MOCA in North Adams, MA curated by Wilco. It all happens Aug 13-15 and you can check out solidsoundfestival.com. Not much for debuts, but we did give Kevin Welch’s new one its 1st Barndance airing. Buttshaker of the week???? Tim Easton always knows how to find a groove and he does it in spades on his last release, “Porcupine”, so he takes the big salami with “Stormy”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
