Another very welcomed balmy Thursday night in Southeastern New England. Several features on this evening’s Boudin Barndance. First up was a preview of music from singer/songwriter Caroline Herring who plays a house concert on Sunday hosted by yours truly. Next up was Part 1 of our two-part preview of the annual Bloodshot Records party at CMJ. This year it’s a fiesta and it all goes down at Union Pool in Brooklyn on Saturday, Octber 25 from 1 – 7 pm. Finally, we played a short set of music in remembrance of unofficial South Austin mayor Danny Roy Young who passed away suddenly in August and who will be remembered with a benefit show on Sunday at the Austin Music Hall.
