Another gorgeous Thursday evening here in Southeastern New England, so
hopefully The Boudin Barndance kept ya’ll company. We previewed music from
Daniel Johnston who appears at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence on
Saturday night (www.lupos.com). We also did an earlybird preview of the
Green River Festival happening July 17-19 in Greenfield, MA. They’ve got an
outstanding lineup this year and speaking from past experience, it’s a real

dirt. New releases making their Barndance debut this evening included
albums from Alejandro Escovedo and a best-of collection from Steve Riley &
the Mamou Playboys. Buttshaker of the week???? Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite
