Recent reviews include a Norton Records Roundup of 2006 releases as well as releases from Sunny Sweeney, Brothers & Sisters, Dave Insley, Bloodshot Records (the new DVD collection), Bobby Bare Jr., Wayne Hancock, Scott H. Biram, The Meat Purveyors, and Wee Hairy Beasties.
It was back to a regular old Boudin Barndance this evening. Seeing it was his birthday today, we featured tracks from the new 3-CD Tom Waits collection called Orphans. It’s must-have goods if you’re a Waits fan and even if you’re not, it’s pretty darn swell. In addition to the Waits blast, there were a number of recent albums receiving first-time Barndance spins this evening including new ones from Johnny Cash, Angela Desveaux, Mindy Smith, Sean Mencher, and Cole Mitchell.
