Cinco de Mayo night on the Barndance as we commemorated this annual holiday by
celebrating with a whole bunch of Tex-Mex music in the second half of the
program, most all of it courtesy of Arhoolie Records which is the one-stop shop
for historic recordings. Contemporary stuff dominated the first half of the
program led by a slew of new releases. Barndance 1st-timers included new
releases from Robbie Fulks, Martha Wainwright, Ryan Adams & the Cardinals, Chip
Taylor & Carrie Rodriguez, Robert Earl Keen, Okkervil River, and Frank Brown.
