First off, we’ll be conducting our annual one-week fundraiser at 90.3 WRIU-FM
next week (April 3 -10). We’ll have CDs, DVDs, and T-shirts (including a brand
new Boudin Barndance T-shirt) available for your pledges. Give a holler next

evening’s doings.
The peepers are peepin’ which in these parts means Spring is in the air. We
mixed it up plenty on the Boudin Barndance this evening. We remembered the
late, great Lefty Frizzell with a birthday set in tribute to the C&W vocal
giant. Also featured music from The Lustre Kings who play a house concert in
these parts on Saturday night. Lots of albums making their Boudin Barndance
debut this evening. They included new releases from Fortytwenty, Devil In a
Woodpile, Scott H. Biram (officially), Greg Trooper, Last Train Home, and a
couple of beautifully packaged collections from Hip-O Select of recordings by
Johnny Ace and Howard Tate. Buttshaker of the night???? The aforementioned
Lustre Kings with “Rock & Roll Ivy”. Now onto the goods…..
