An evening of playing the field on The Boudin Barndance tonight as we welcomed December on a day that almost hit 60 in these parts. We did remember Sharon Jones of Dap Kings fame who passed last week. The bummer year continues. We also had a most pronounced pop flavor throughout the evening. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included records from Kelly Pardekooper and Mark Sultan. Buttshaker of the week???? Tommy Jackson with a little bit of “Flat Top Box.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
