A Boudin Barndance radio show with a little bit of this and a little bit of that this evening. We did a CD giveaway courtesy of Sony Music Entertainment of the new Loretta Lynn holiday release White Christmas Blue. We remembered some C&W types on their birthdays and delivered a dollop of blues and soul to close things out. Only a few releases making their debuts tonight and they included new ones from the aforementioned Loretta Lynn, Tex Smith, and Gillian Welch. Buttshaker of the week???? Tennessee Ernie Ford takes the trophy with “Cincinnati Dancing Pig.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
