Back to the regular order of business tonight on The Boudin Barndance. In other words, a whole 3-hour show. We first put the wraps on some favorite releases from 2016 that we did not get to in previous weeks. From there, we broke open the 2017 release bag with new or upcoming ones from Tift Merritt, The Band of Heathens, Otis Gibbs, Josh Hyde, Delbert McClinton, Nikki Lane, and Ron Gallo all airing for the first time. We closed out the show with a remembrance of singer/songwriter Greg Trooper who passed away all too soon on Sunday. He was a good one in all facets of the game. Buttshaker of the week???? Ron Gallo turning up the burners with “Young Lady, You’re Scaring Me.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
