We got back into a normal Boudin Barndance groove this evening with a little of this and a little of that. Pressure free and pure fun. Was reorganizing the music library at home last weekend and came across all kinds of great stuff of the alt country and indie rock variety, so decided maybe to start a throwback set thing with this evening kicking it off. Some nuggets in it. 2017 releases are beginning to roll in and a bunch got their 1st Boudin Barndance spin tonight including records from Whitney Rose, De Meyer & Kimbrough, John Craigie, Bo Ramsey (belated 2016), Lisa Bastoni, and Michael Chapman. Buttshaker of the week???? How ‘bout Nikki Lane with “Jackpot.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
