The Boudin Barndance was back in action this evening as we kicked off our 30-year anniversary month with nothing special planned, just do the show as we’ve always done it. ‘nuff said. Did a lot of playing the field tonight. A bunch of new and recent releases making their Barndance debut including albums from Angeleena Presley, Lillie Mae, Colter Wall, The Weeks, Shelby Earl, Old Crow Medicine Show, Taj Mahal & Keb Mo, and Larissa Tandy. We also gave away some tix to the upcoming show by the Wailin’ Jenny’s happening this Sunday at the Park Theater in Cranston. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday guy Jimmie Dale Gilmore with “Mobile Line” is tough to top. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
