A gloomy and chilly evening in these parts tonight, so perfect for hangin’ with The Boudin Barndance which we’re hoping many of you did do. An evening of mostly playing the field. We did shine the spotlight on two recent collections near show’s end, “Looking Forward” which focuses on the pre-Big Star sides from Chris Bell and “Kickin’ Child” from Norton Records which is a superb collection of 1965 recordings for Columbia by Dion. New and recent releases making their Barndance debut tonight in addition to the Chris Bell collection were albums from Sonny Landreth, Amber Cross, White Owl Red, and Moot Davis. Buttshaker of the week???? The Planet Rockers grab the brass ring with “Tennessee Woman.” Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
