The Boudin Barndance happened tonight and boy did we have fun just spinning the gamut of stuff we did. Even MC5 made the cut. Mostly bounced around, but we did some big plugging for Barrence Whitfield & the Savages gigs tomorrow night at Café Nine in New Haven and next Friday at the Middle East in Cambridge. Gonna be hot shows, no doubt. New and upcoming releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from the Oak Ridge Boys, The Mammals, Darlingside, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Sonny Smith, and Naked Giants. Buttshaker of the week???? Barrence Whitfield & the Savages takes it again with “Let’s Go to Mars.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
