A beautiful night for a Boudin Barndance radio show. So much stuff happening in this area on Friday night, it ain’t even funny. Even better, our own sold out Swamp Stomp festival happens on Saturday and couldn’t be more excited for what’s in store. No hipster stuff, just straight up solid rock & rollers who know the lay of the land and continue to make great music. Good for you if you have tix. New releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time included albums from Lori McKenna, The Jayhawks, Willie Nile, Songs from the Road Band, and Hawks & Doves. Buttshaker of the week???? Remembering T-Model Ford who played one of the most memorable Swamp Stomp’s ever, with “Ask Her for Water.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
