We got on some rolls on this evening’s Boudin Barndance and in particular, the 2nd half of the show which amounted to two rather extended sets. It’s what happens when you’re feeling something and get on some threads. Spontaneity was the order of business. Before all that, it was our usual first half mix of new stuff followed by the weekly C&W set. New albums and/or singles making their debut tonight included music from Heatless Bastards, Andrwew Gabbard (single), Anna Egge, Riddy Arman, and Charley Crockett. Buttshaker of the week???? The Black Keys with a pulsating cover of John Lee Hooker’s “Crawling Kingsnake.” Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
