After last week’s archive edition of The Boudin Barndance, we were back this week with a fresh episode direct from the porch of my abode in Peace Dale, RI. New releases dominated the 1st hour before our weekly C&W set from 7-7:30. We played the field for a large part of the 2nd half of the program before closing with a set focusing on the works of the late and great New Orleans legend Dave Bartholomew in all his various musical capacities. New singles and albums making their Barndance debut tonight included releases from The Williamson Brothers, The Great Dying (belated), Amy Helm, Dallas Burrow and Jeb Loy Nichols. Buttshaker of the week???? Bill Haley & The Comets with “Rockin’ Chair on the Moon.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
