A Thanksgiving edition of The Boudin Barndance this evening and the first fresh T-giving show since 2013. Because of the holiday I did pre-record it and I apologize for the DJ before me not flipping to the program until after 6 and cutting off the first 7 minutes or so. As we did from 1999-2013, we resumed our tradition of saluting the late Doug Sahm devoting the entire 2nd half of the show to his music. Kicked things off with Bob Dylan’s lengthy “Murder Most Foul” single which seemed appropriate its tie to November historical events. From there, it was onto to songs of thanks and our weekly C&W set which featured a mini birthday salute to the late country picker Merle Travis. Buttshaker of the week???? Doug Sahm with “I Don’t Believe.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
