The home editions of The Boudin Barndance radio show continued this evening. Nick Lowe has a new EP out, so we decided to dedicate the final set of the evening to him and his frequent masked backing band, Los Straitjackets. Before that, it was our usual mix of new & old nuggets, C&W and R&R. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight came from Teddy Thompson, Holy Hive, Anna Tivel (solo acoustic re-release of last year’s The Question), Jake Blount, Bloodshot Bill, High Noon, and a circa-‘62 collection of recordings from Doc Watson & Gaither Carlton. Buttshaker of the week???? High Noon with a new called “You Done Did It.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
