Yet another crummy weather Thursday here in Southeastern New England, but it couldn’t stop The Boudin Barndance radio program. A very full plate tonight. Began with mostly new releases during the first hour. What with Valentine’s Day tomorrow, our C&W set featured a whole bunch of country music couples singing love songs. We did a set in remembrance of longtime Willie Nelson drummer & compadre Paul English. We also previewed and gave tix away for Durand Jones & the Indications at The Met Café in Pawtucket on Wednesday night. New and upcoming albums making the Barndance hit parade for the first time included albums from Cindy Cashdollar, Sonny Landreth, Neal Frances, Tami Neilson, and Puss N Boots (which I dig the heck out of!). Buttshaker of the week???? Big-haired Tami Neilson with “Queenie Queenie.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
